As we all know it is important for one to consume healthily, be attentive and boost up their immune system during these tough times where a Virus CoViD-19 being so deadly is destroying up our immune systems. We don’t know in the present time what illness we might get or what can happen to us the next moment. Remaining healthy and being active is one such major thing which is the need of the hour. Also, our foods now contain chemicals or are mostly filled with fertilizers or pesticides. We should focus on consuming organic products more rather than these inorganic ones which aren’t of our benefit and put our lives at risk.
Importance of organic food
The term “organic” refers to the locally grown and pose very minimal interference to the environmental resources that support healthy living. Since harmful chemicals are forbidden in organic farming, there is minimum water, air, and soil pollution, therefore, ensuring a healthier and safer environment. Organic produce contains fewer pesticides. Chemicals such as fungicides, herbicides, and insecticides are widely used in conventional agriculture and residues remain on (and in) the food we eat.
Organic food is often fresher because it doesn’t contain preservatives that make it last longer. Organic produce is often (but not always, so watch where it is from) produced on smaller farms near where it is sold.
Organic farming is better for the environment. Organic farming practices reduce pollution, conserve water, reduce soil erosion, increase soil fertility, and use less energy. Farming without pesticides is also better for nearby birds and animals as well as people who live close to farms.

Q. What was the idea behind starting Farms2Families. Please share its USP
We at Farms2Families strives to build an aggregate platform bridging the gap between farmers and clients. Our company provides you with an aggregate platform where once the customer is on board he is notified about the nearby farms. After selecting the farm, the customer provides us with a custom list of fruits and vegetables. A particular section of the land is then allocated to the individual where the farmer grows the required supplements. We at Farms2Families not only supervise this entire procedure but our employees also counsel our customers helping them choose what is best for them. Apart from this we solemnly try to build a trust relationship with our clients. They don’t just eat what we provide. We are India’s number one facility which allows the client to witness the entire growth of the crop and supervise it without physically being there using installed CCTV cameras. Once all this is done, we make sure that the customer receives the harvest fresh and healthy and on time that is specifically with 5 days. We make it a supreme target to make sure that our clients are satisfied and healthy.

Q. What is your Business Model?
We at Farms2Families aim to bridge the gap between the farmer and clients using an aggregate platform. Our business model is a virtual depiction of the game Farmville. We aim to demonstrate farming to be a lot more interesting than it sounds. We deliver vegetables grown on a piece of land that is owned by the customer itself. We charge them for the land every month where we only grow customized vegetables as per the owner’s demand.

Food is one of the most essential and necessities of life. Q. How you have converted Farmville virtual game to reality? Kindly elaborate.
Similar to Farmville the consumer can keep a check on the vegetables and witnesses the growth of a seed into the plant. We have installed cameras on our Farms which allow the consumer to monitor the vegetables at any given moment similar to the game.
Q. Is it a self-funded project or you have received any funds from the investors?
It is not a self-funded project. We currently have funds from the Rajasthan Government, FNF (Friends and family) and bootstrap.
